Partners

The BIOTECH-GO project partnership is created with mutual agreement and understanding for the need of qualifications transparency within the target sector and for introduction of Learning Outcomes and ECVET within the Bioinformatics training. It unifies 5 EU partners from Bulgaria, GR and TR, and comprises two SMEs, a NGO, and two Universities.

The consortium is built as a hierarchical structure ruled by Management Board (MB), leaded by the Project Applicant whose director is experienced in organizing similar projects within different EU initiatives. The MB will constitute from the contact persons of each partner and will be responsible for the overall project performance. At partners' level the project activities will be organized and conducted by Local Operation Units (LOUs). The LOUs’ staff comprises members with different background and long term experience in various national/EU programs – LLP-LdV and Erasmus, 6/7FP, NATO and other national/international initiatives. This staff can offer the necessary capacity, experience and competence for project objectives realization. The dissemination and use activities are assigned to Dissemination and Use Bureau (DUB) and project quality management - to Quality Management Bureau (QMB).

The BIOTECH-GO transnational partnership joining providers of professional education, with different cultural background and experience, enthusiastically embarks on the project tasks to:

  • Produce novel training materials addressing European and transnational efforts in integrating bioinformatics into the VET study programme.
  • Implement a Dissemination & Use plan for the VET system among target sectors and end users.
  • Design and implement a dissemination program about the BIOTECH-GO initiative, its objectives and results among the main target groups.
  • Consult the end users and beneficiaries in educational organisations and companies in implementing the BIOTECH-GO outcomes to be spread throughout and beyond the project consortium.
